Howdy, and welcome to the Wild West of Web3.Like many of you, I’ve been playing close attention, trying to immerse myself in the new wave of the Internet. Over the past few months, I’ve been investing in projects & contributing to a handful Discord communities. I even joined a DAO. For those who haven’t read it yet, @PackyM describes this new wave of the Internet as “The great online game." In order to play, you need a digital wallet, and I started with Rainbow, an iOS app that makes it easy to buy, manage, and display your .eth assets. Over the last few months, I’ve used Rainbow to secure my .eth domain, swap .eth for $fwb, and even hold a NFT. Rainbow is beautifully designed, but up until recently I didn’t see as more than a utility. Last week I came across a tweet from Mike Demarias — one of the co-founders of Rainbow that caught my attention.
